Dr. JeffreyÌýGondaÌýhas studied, participated in, and directed choral music in four different states, and has been fortunate to share and experience choral music around the world. Originally from a small town in Wyoming, Jeffrey received a degree in vocal performance from the University of Wyoming, before shifting his focus to choral conducting through the masters program at the University of Arizona. He gained experience teaching church music and working with other local choirs and volunteer organizations, both in Tucson Arizona, and later in Oklahoma, where he taught community college for four years. During that time, he built a philosophy centered around the idea of using music to build community and connection, as he taught various music classes, as well as college and community choirs. He also directed community musicals that grew into whole-community events.

After his time teaching community college, Dr.ÌýGondaÌýreturned to school to complete a doctor of musical arts degree at the University of Oklahoma. After completing his degree, he received a position teaching high school music in Hampton, Georgia. Dr.ÌýGondaÌýcontinues to look for ways to use music to build community and connection and continues to strive to create positive opportunities wherever he can.Ìý
