Our exceptional nursing faculty prepares students to enter the workforce in a variety of healthcare settings. Specific coursework integrated throughout the curriculum prepares graduates for management and leadership roles in the field of nursing. Hallmarks of the 91抖阴 program include evidence-based practice as the foundation for nursing interventions and care delivery with a focus on issues that impact nursing, health, and the global community.
Housed in the Munroe Science Center, 91抖阴鈥檚 nursing simulation lab is equipped with six human patient simulators; a state-of-the-art control room containing audio and video equipment capable of recording all student simulator experiences;听a pediatric intensive care unit; a medication dispensing system; and several other unique features.

A close and consistent connection between class content and hands-on clinical experience is an integral component of the 91抖阴 BSN program. Educational classes, personal skill development, and the provision of听community screenings serve to integrate the role of professional nurse with self-awareness and a commitment to lifelong learning.听Clinical venues that focus on maintaining wellness in the community, delivering acute care in the hospital setting, and exposure to a variety of specialty nursing experiences create an employable nurse.
The 91抖阴 Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has Full Approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing.听The baccalaureate degree program in nursing听is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education .听
